 Company Profile Founded in 1959 by Mark Horvatin as Sun Polishing and Buffing Company, the operation soon grew to include metal plating services to satisfy the demands of lighting, furniture and store fixture manufacturers in the Toronto area. The company moved its operations to the current location at 30 Nashville Avenue in 1968 and further expanded its capabilities in 1974 with the construction of a modern, environmentally responsible processing facility. The company has remained family owned and operated throughout its growth and is currently under the management of a second generation with Michael Horvatin, Production Manager; and Tony Horvatin, Technical Manager. Today Sun Polishing and Plating Co. Ltd. employs 20 dedicated and experienced team members who are well trained, motivated and successful in their tasks and this fact is proven by the very high level of our customers’ satisfaction in both our product quality and on-time delivery performance. At Sun, we pride ourselves in our dedicated response and our attention-to-detail in serving our customers’ needs. We are custom finishing shop and are well equipped to handle a wide variety of parts from restorations to industrial sized lots.
